Information on your invoice for your rental deposit guarentee and your F.A.Q

If your lease is terminated or is going to be terminated

• We must receive from your lessor or the lessor’s representative (real estate agency) your rental guarantee release before 31 December in order to automatically cancel your annual premium invoice for the following year. Make sure that your lessor or your real estate agency gives us the original guarantee certificate which enables your rental guarantee to be released.

If you are not contractually linked to our company

• Let us know by sending a letter to SwissCaution,Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny, or an e-mail to , indicating your file number and the purpose of your letter. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.

If you wish to terminate your SwissCaution contract

• It is possible to terminate your rental guarantee at any time. You just need to supply your lessor or your real estate agency with a new rental guarantee. Your real estate agency will then release the rental guarantee issued by SwissCaution. If we receive the rental guarantee release from your real estate agency before the 31st of December, the invoice for your annual premium will automatically be cancelled.

If you think that there is an error in the invoice amount

• The calculation of the annual premium amount is 5 % of the rental guarantee amount + a Fr. 20.- administrative fee + 5% stamp).

  If your invoice does not correspond to the amount calculated based on the amount of your rental guarantee, send a letter to SwissCaution, Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny, or an email to indicating your file number and the purpose of your letter. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.

If you have paid your annual primium two times

• Send a letter to SwissCaution, Route de Renens 1, Case postale 480, 1030 Bussigny or an email to .

  Be sure to include the number of your file, the purpose of your communication with proof of your payments, as well as your bank or post details for the reimbursement. We will handle your request as quickly as possible.
