Following the success of the pilot phase in 130 Post offices in the Lake Leman area, SwissCaution and the Post are confirming their partnership by extending the collaboration to 22 regions. Beginning 16 November 2009 it will be possible to request a SwissCaution rental guarantee directly at the counter of more than 1000 post offices across Switzerland!

The postal employee completes the form with the information required for the rental proposal and based on the identity document provided by the renter, collects the fixed inscription premium of CHF 231.-, and then transfers the file to us. Upon acceptance of the request, we will immediately send the rental guarantee certificate to the real estate agency.

The integration of our product with the postal services offers a real advantage for the client: signing up for a SwissCaution rental guarantee becomes even easier and faster!

At the beginning of the year we introduced an electronic message service to communicate with our clients. As soon as the rental guarantee certificate is issued, a confirmation via SMS is automatically sent to the renter’s mobile number if indicated on the request form. This way, the waiting time to learn if the rental guarantee request has been accepted by SwissCaution and the agency is reduced and allows the renter to move faster.

The new 3D game called « Shpop » is available as a download free from the Apple store for Swiss residents thanks to SwissCaution’s sponsorship! SwissCaution has formed an exclusive partnership with the EPFL and UNIL. Students can now benefit from very advantageous conditions upon conclusion of a rental guarantee without deposit with SwissCaution. As of the 1st year, there is only one annual premium to pay, which is prorated according to the number of months to guarantee required by the lessor.  A web page was especially created on the respective sites of the two universities to allow students to place a guarantee request directly online. This advantageous offer makes it a lot easier on the wallets of students or their parents !
