MalleyPrairie: a safe place for protection and rebuilding
The MalleyPrairie Reception Centre, managed by the foundation of the same name, provides emergency accommodation in the canton of Vaud for women who are victims of violence, with or without children.
Beyond offering safe shelter, MalleyPrairie provides:
- Psychosocial support
- Dedicated support and activities for children
- Follow-up support focused on rebuilding and reintegration
More than just a place to stay, MalleyPrairie is a space for protection and recovery—where women and their children can regain stability and strength before moving on to new accommodation and a new chapter in their lives.

SwissCaution’s commitment
By supporting MalleyPrairie through multi-year financial donations, SwissCaution takes a long-term approach—because providing a safe roof, a listening ear and local support helps create the conditions for a first step towards a new beginning.
At SwissCaution, rental guarantees are our core business, and facilitating access to housing is our reason for being. We recognize that for people in extremely precarious situations, access to housing is fundamental—it offers both shelter and a moment of relief.
Guided by this conviction, we have structured our long-term commitment to sustainability and joined the Swiss Triple Impact (STI) program, defining clear objectives in social sustainability, equal opportunities and support for people in vulnerable situations.
A lasting commitment that goes beyond words
Promoting access to housing and emergency accommodation is one of the cornerstones of our sustainability strategy.
Actively supporting high-impact initiatives in the field is what drives and motivates us.
That is why Swisscaution is committed to:
- Providing financial support to MalleyPrairie and Sleep-In to help ensure the continuity of their essential services and allow them to plan for the future with greater peace of mind.
- Building long-term partnerships through the implementation of multi-year initiatives.
- Offering practical support through complementary actions such as fundraising, donations, various forms of assistance and manpower, in order to diversify our contribution.
- Acting as a communication relay to increase the visibility of these organizations.
- Fostering close relationships between SwissCaution employees and these associations, reinforcing the human dimension of our commitment.

What about tomorrow?
Our commitment to Sleep-In and MalleyPrairie marks the beginning of a broader journey. By 2030, SwissCaution intends to:
- Strengthen our collaborations with existing partners.
- Develop similar initiatives with organizations supporting emergency accommodation and access to housing in both French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.
- Monitor and share our progress as part of the Swiss Triple Impact program.
- Continue to act with conviction by launching new initiatives that embed sustainability values into our corporate DNA, ensuring our social responsibility is reflected in our vision, decisions and actions—both concretely and sustainably.
