Terms and Conditions - SwissCaution Contest

The contest is organized by SC, SwissCaution SA (hereinafter: “SwissCaution”).
SwissCaution is solely responsible for the organization and conduct of the contest.

The contest runs from March 20, 2026, to November 30, 2026.
Any entry that does not meet the eligibility requirements during this period will not be considered.
The drawing will take place within two weeks of the contest’s end.

Participation in the contest is open to individuals who meet all of the following conditions:

be a resident of Switzerland;
have held a lease agreement in Switzerland for at least six months at the time of entry;
replace the bank deposit provided for the lease agreement with a SwissCaution rental guarantee insurance contract for a residential lease (hereinafter: “SwissCaution insurance contract”) for the duration of the contest;
have concluded a valid SwissCaution insurance contract, and the insurance premium has been paid;
be identified as the tenant on the SwissCaution insurance contract.

The entry into the contest is only valid after the SwissCaution insurance contract has been effectively activated and the premium has been paid during the contest period.
The following are excluded from participation:

SwissCaution employees;
employees of any partners involved in organizing the contest;
any person who has been directly involved in the design or organization of the contest.

SwissCaution reserves the right to exclude any fraudulent or abusive entries, particularly in the event of an attempt to manipulate the contest or a violation of these terms and conditions.

Each SwissCaution insurance contract that meets the eligibility requirements constitutes an entry into the drawing. Entry into the contest is automatic.
The drawing is conducted based on eligible SwissCaution insurance contracts, not on individuals.
SwissCaution reserves the right to verify the eligibility of contracts prior to the drawing, in particular based on the information available in its internal systems.

The contest offers the chance to win a gift card worth CHF 1,500 from the airline SWISS.
The SWISS gift card is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions, particularly regarding its validity period and terms of use.
The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. SwissCaution accepts no liability for the terms of use of the gift card as set by the partner.
Any taxes, fees, or charges associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).

The winning contract is determined by a random drawing from among all eligible SwissCaution insurance contracts.
The person(s) identified as tenants in the winning contract will be notified by email.
If no response is received within 30 days of the notification being sent, SwissCaution reserves the right to conduct a new random drawing.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding the contest.

Personal data collected in connection with the contest is processed by SwissCaution in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection laws.

SwissCaution reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time if special circumstances or reasons beyond its control so require.

All legal recourse is excluded.
The contest is governed by Swiss law.
